Acceptable Use Policy
What you may and may not do when using Haruspex.

1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) explains the rules governing the use of Haruspex (“the Platform”, “we”, “our”, or “us”).
Its purpose is to protect users, maintain the integrity of the Platform, comply with applicable laws, and ensure responsible use of our AI-powered investment intelligence services.
This Policy forms part of the Terms of Service. By using Haruspex, you agree to comply with this Policy.
2. General Principles
Users may use Haruspex only for lawful purposes and in accordance with:
- this Acceptable Use Policy;
- our Terms of Service;
- our Privacy Policy;
- all applicable laws and regulations.
Users remain solely responsible for all actions performed using their account.
3. Permitted Uses
Haruspex may be used for purposes including:
- investment research;
- market education;
- financial analysis;
- business intelligence;
- portfolio evaluation;
- learning about companies, industries, and markets;
- personal decision support.
Nothing provided by Haruspex constitutes financial advice or investment recommendations.
4. Prohibited Activities
Users may not use Haruspex to:

Use the Platform to:
- violate any law;
- facilitate criminal conduct;
- engage in fraud;
- commit money laundering;
- finance terrorism;
- evade sanctions;
- violate export controls.
4.2 Harmful Conduct
Users may not:
- harass others;
- threaten individuals;
- promote violence;
- encourage self-harm;
- distribute malware;
- attempt unauthorized access to systems;
- disrupt Platform operations.
4.3 Abuse of AI Services
Users may not:
- attempt to manipulate AI outputs through malicious prompt injection;
- intentionally exploit model vulnerabilities;
- use automated methods to exhaust Platform resources;
- submit prompts designed solely to bypass Platform safeguards;
- interfere with safety mechanisms.
4.4 Misuse of Investment Information
Users may not use Haruspex to:
- manipulate financial markets;
- coordinate pump-and-dump schemes;
- create fraudulent investment materials;
- impersonate financial professionals;
- deceive investors;
- spread intentionally false financial information.
4.5 Intellectual Property Violations
Users may not:
- upload content they do not have rights to use;
- infringe copyrights;
- violate trademarks;
- misappropriate trade secrets;
- violate licensing agreements.
4.6 Unauthorized Automation
Without our written permission, users may not:
- scrape the Platform;
- crawl large portions of the Platform;
- harvest data;
- reverse engineer proprietary systems;
- create unauthorized mirrors;
- bypass rate limits.
Reasonable API usage is permitted only through officially supported interfaces.
5. User Content
Users remain responsible for all content they submit, including:
- prompts;
- uploaded files;
- comments;
- feedback;
- datasets;
- generated exports shared with others.
Users represent that they have all necessary rights to submit such content.
6. AI-Generated Content
Users acknowledge that:
- AI responses may be inaccurate;
- AI responses may become outdated;
- outputs should be independently verified;
- generated content should not be treated as professional advice.
Users assume responsibility for decisions made using Platform outputs.
7. Security Requirements
Users must not:
- share account credentials;
- attempt to access another user’s account;
- probe Platform security;
- test vulnerabilities without authorization;
- interfere with authentication systems;
- upload malicious software.
Users should immediately notify Haruspex of any suspected unauthorized account access.
8. Fair Use
To maintain service quality for all users, Haruspex may impose reasonable limits on:
- requests per minute;
- daily AI usage;
- file uploads;
- storage;
- concurrent sessions;
- API usage, if applicable.
Attempts to circumvent these limits are prohibited.
9. Restricted Industries
Haruspex may not be used as the primary basis for decisions involving:
- regulated financial advice;
- securities licensing obligations;
- legal representation;
- medical diagnosis;
- emergency response;
- life-critical systems.
Users remain responsible for obtaining qualified professional advice where appropriate.
10. Enforcement
If we reasonably believe a user has violated this Policy, we may:
- issue warnings;
- remove content;
- restrict Platform functionality;
- temporarily suspend accounts;
- permanently terminate accounts;
- block IP addresses;
- report unlawful conduct to competent authorities where legally required or appropriate.
We may act without prior notice where necessary to protect the Platform, our users, or third parties.
11. Reporting Violations
Users who become aware of misuse of Haruspex are encouraged to report it through our designated support channels.
Reports should include sufficient information to allow investigation.
12. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time.
Material changes will become effective upon publication unless otherwise stated.
Continued use of Haruspex after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
